Holiday Ranch South Polls LLC, located in the Florida panhandle, was founded by Cliff and Kay White in 2004.  We began by first purchasing  Bent Tree Farms’ finest foundation South Polls with many others to follow.  Our core principals are centered around regenerative agriculture and best management practices to ensure healthy soil and forages for our South Polls.  Our goal is continuous herd improvement focusing on phenotype, maternal, and carcass traits.  In our quest for excellence, advanced DNA technology has been employed since 2011. Now is your opportunity to obtain part of our commitment to the best that South Poll has to offer.

Harris Homeplace Farm is an ecologically minded operation raising South Poll Cattle seedstock and also selling beef direct to consumer.  After implementing a managed intensive grazing system in 1998 we welcomed our first South Polls to the farm in 2006 and haven't looked back since.  They are a great tool in our mission to steward our land responsibly while also building and maintaining a profitable business.

Bent Creek Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of south-central VA. After growing up on a
dairy farm in Lancaster PA, and several years in construction, my wife Sherri & I purchased
this VA farm in 1995. Within a few months we began grazing Angus, Herford and
Charolais cattle. Over the years our 7 children helped turn the low-quality pastures of the
farm into a beautiful, diverse landscape of grasses and forbs. We went from several years
of weekly pasture rotations to now daily moves of South Poll cattle.
Soil life is a very important aspect of healthy farming practices. Our cattle are selected for
natural resistance to parasites, and are able to gain well on a fescue-based forage with a
nice diversity of many other warm and cool season plants. Fresh clean water
and daily pasture moves help our cattle enjoy life and are very comfortable around people.
The base of our cattle enterprise is cow/calf pairs. We fence-line wean all of our calves and
finish out only the top females as replacements, the rest are sold as stockers or finished
and sold as grass finished beef. We prefer early maturing, small to medium framed cows at
around 1,100 lbs.

Here at O'Neal Cattle Company we are a small regenerative farm located in Bremen Ga.  We usually have anywhere from 150-160 head of registered animals.  We keep our cattle on the move depending on the time of year and and the forage they have available.  We also sell grass fed beef off of the farm and to local restaurants in the area.  You can check us out on Facebook at O'Neal Cattle Company and our website is http://www.onealcattlecompany.com .

Stanley Sumners and Andy Sumners — We started in 2006 with 22 head of South Poll females from Teddy Gentry. We are charter members of the SPGCA, and Andy served on the board for 10 years. The South Poll community of breeders are some of the best around and always willing to help in any way possible to expand and improve your cattle farm. Here at Sumners Farm, we have around 70 head of fullblood registered females and currently 4 herd bulls. We plant summer and winter annuals and do strip and rotational grazing almost daily. We do have herd bulls available from year to year and some females usually also. If we can help with anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you.

Fechtel Farm is a family farm dedicated to raising healthy, productive livestock through sound grazing practices. Since 2012, we’ve raised South Poll cattle using rotational grazing to promote healthy pastures, improve soil health, and produce efficient, grass-based cattle.
In 2020, we expanded our operation by adding Australian White sheep, a breed known for its hardiness, excellent meat quality, and low-maintenance characteristics. At Fechtel Farm, we are committed to responsible stewardship of the land and producing quality livestock for generations to come.

We are committed to improving the quality of our genetics every day through careful selection, strategic artificial insemination using the breed’s best bulls, the purchase of top-quality sires, and comprehensive DNA testing of all our animals — all with the goal of producing some of the best South Poll cattle in the breed.

Sand Rock Farm

Sand Rock Farm is owned and operated by Rodney and Julie Davis. Located in Geraldine, AL on Sand Mountain, we started with commercial cattle. After a visit to Sumners Farm, we decided to get into South Polls.  We have Fullblood, Purebred and a few percentage cattle. The cattle are kept on grass only and hay in the winter. We strive for cattle that work in our environment and South Polls have done well for us.

Randy & Pam Majerus - In 2013, we purchased land in Athens, Georgia, to build a sustainable, high-quality cattle operation. While we started with commercial Angus, our focus on exceptional genetics and pasture-based management led us to South Poll cattle. After introducing a full-blood South Poll bull from Sumners Farm in 2021, we transitioned our herd. Today, we manage around sixty head of full-blood, purebred, and percentage South Polls. We are dedicated to rotational grazing and sustainable practices, producing premium, pasture-raised beef and high-quality breeding stock.

The Hollow & The Hyte Farms (THHF) is a 275-acre farm located near Leslie, Arkansas. Our pastures are bordered by two creeks and stretch to the top of South Mountain, which inspired the name The Hollow & The Hyte Farms.

My wife, Kristi, and I began raising South Poll cattle about six years ago. Since then, we have built a herd of approximately 30 females, including fullbloods, purebreds, and percentage cattle.

THHF is also home to Notch, our fullblood herd sire from Providence Farms. His pedigree traces back to Broadway on both the sire and dam sides, and we are excited about the genetics he is bringing to our program.

After many years as a government affairs consultant in Arkansas, I recently retired and now enjoy spending my days working on the farm—a dream come true.

Kristi and I have been married for 42 years and have been blessed with eight children and 23 grandchildren. We always enjoy visiting with fellow cattle producers, so if you’re ever in our part of Arkansas, we’d love to have you stop by and see us.

Ember Cattle Company is a Virginia based cattle farm run by wife and husband team, Becky and Ben, who have been raising South Poll since 2009. They are very intentional about not using unnecessary inputs to shape the land to fit their cattle but instead manage for animals that naturally fit their forage type, seasons, and environment. Becky brings a lifetime of cattle experience and decades of learning from other graziers, while Ben manages the daily flow of the herd with the same discipline and care that shaped his 20-year Navy career. Together, they focus on cattle that stay healthy and productive on forage alone, and pastures that grow stronger each season through thoughtful rotation utilizing multiple moves a day. ECC selects for cattle that hold condition easily, breed back consistently, and thrive on forage, offering the kind of practical, forage-built animals that do their job well, keep the land improving year after year, and bring real value to the folks who buy them.

Southern Select welcomes consignors who are raising quality, forage-developed South Poll cattle. If you have bulls or females that represent fertility, functionality, and true grass efficiency, we invite you to be part of an upcoming Southern Select sale. Join a group of breeders committed to offering practical, performance-driven cattle the industry can trust. Contact our team to learn more about consigning.
